Verbs Review: what have we learned about verbs?

Adjectives–Gender and number assignment…again
Today, we are taking a quick break from talking about verbs. In this lesson, we will take a look at how to use adjectives.

Prepositions–small, but important

Irregular, but Essential Verbs I–querer and tener
In this lesson, we will learn how to conjugate "querer" (to want) and "tener" (to have). These verbs are slightly irregular, so they don't follow all of the rules that we talked about in our previous verb lessons. For more of this, check out our Bridge the Gap Slightly Irregular, but Essential Verbs mini-course, which goes through conjugating 20+ essential and irregular verbs.

Irregular, but Essential Verbs II–estar and ser
In this lesson, we will learn how to conjugate "ser" and "estar" which both mean "to be." These verbs are slightly irregular, so they don't follow all of the rules that we talked about in our previous verb lessons. We will also talk about how to decide when to use each verb. For more about irregular verbs, check out our Bridge the Gap Slightly Irregular, but Essential Verbs mini-course, which goes through conjugating 20+ essential and irregular verbs.

Sentence Structure–what we’ve learned so far
In this lesson, we will put everything we've learned so far together to make sure we have sentence structure down.

Questions–how do you ask one?
In this lesson, we will learn how to ask simple "yes/no" questions. We will also learn 6 question words that will help you ask questions that are a tiny bit more complex.

More on ser and estar–we know you have questions!
In this lesson, we will talk more in depth about "ser" and "estar" which we learned how to conjugate in a previous lesson. This lesson is full of information, making it our longest lesson in this course.

BONUS LESSON: Gustar–how to use this very useful verb
In this BONUS lesson, we will learn how to use the verb "gustar" which we use to express the English verb "to like." We will talk about more verbs used in a similar way in the Bridge the Gap Beyond the Foundations Spanish Grammar course.
